Professional Bolivian Ronroco – Naranjillo with Jacaranda Fingerboard

This professional ronroco is handcrafted in Bolivia, combining traditional Andean instrument making with carefully selected materials and detailed artisan work.

It is made with Naranjillo wood and features a brown finish, a spruce soundboard, a Jacaranda fingerboard, and nickel silver frets. The nut and saddle are made of bone, as in the traditional professional instruments we offer.

Its larger body and lower register give the ronroco a rich, expressive sound, making it a beautiful instrument for accompaniment, solo playing and exploring the unique sound of the Andes.

Each ronroco is individually handcrafted, giving every instrument its own unique character. Because these are handmade instruments made from natural materials, subtle variations in wood grain, color, decorative details, headstock design and other aesthetic characteristics are natural and part of the instrument’s artisan nature.

Tuning Options

This ronroco can be prepared in either of two tunings according to the musician’s preference:

E tuning (Mi) – the traditional Bolivian ronroco tuning.

B tuning (Si) – commonly known as the Argentine ronroco tuning.

Please contact us before or after your purchase to let us know which tuning you prefer.

If no tuning preference is specified, the ronroco will be prepared and shipped in the traditional E tuning.
