This professional concert-grade ronroco is handcrafted and hand-carved in Bolivia, combining traditional Andean instrument making with carefully selected materials and detailed artisan work.

It features a spruce soundboard, an ebony fingerboard, nickel silver frets, and beautiful decorative details made with ebony. The nut and saddle are made of bone, completing the traditional construction and high-quality finish of the instrument.

One of the most distinctive characteristics of this ronroco is its beautiful hand-carved design. Each instrument is individually crafted, giving every ronroco its own character and making every piece unique.

Because these are handmade instruments made from natural materials, subtle variations in wood grain, carving, color, decorative details, headstock design and other aesthetic characteristics are part of their artisan nature.

Tuning Options

This ronroco can be prepared in either of two tunings according to the musician’s preference:

E tuning (Mi) – the traditional Bolivian ronroco tuning.

B tuning (Si) – commonly known as the Argentine ronroco tuning.

Please contact us before or after your purchase to let us know which tuning you prefer.

If no tuning preference is specified, the ronroco will be prepared and shipped in the traditional E tuning.
