Walaycho (Mini Charango) – Solid Naranjillo Wood, Handmade in Bolivia

Hand-carved from a single piece of Naranjillo wood, this Walaycho — the smallest member of the charango family — features a spruce top for a bright, resonant voice and a jacaranda fingerboard for warmth in every note. The nut is carved from cow bone, a traditional choice that improves clarity and sustain. Its soundhole is shaped like a chacana, the Andean cross, a symbol found throughout Bolivian craft traditions.
