The back is intricately carved in the shape of an armadillo (quirquincho), a cultural symbol of the Andes, made from noble woods like naranjillo and spruce top, offering a warm and bright tone.

Its edges are delicately inlaid with mother-of-pearl, adding a fine artisan touch. It features a double back for enhanced resonance and acoustic balance. The fretboard includes nickel silver (alpaca) frets, known for their durability and smooth playability.
